What happened to the PRIR list?

As part of the final transition to the new web page at the end of February 2010 the PRIR list will be turned off. Future notifications of conferences, symposia and the like can be posted on www.airaanz.org under the news link.

Just send the information to our web master via the link on the news page and he will upload it. Rather than having to check back to the AIRAANZ site to see if there are any new announcements, you can subscribe to the news page and receive an RSS feed from the web site.

Most web browsers (such as Firefox and IE 7 or later) will provide a short display of the material on the pages you have subscribed to in the tool bar (if you subscribe to the page through the browser, for example by going to the website and clicking on the RSS notice on the top right hand side of the news page).

For help with RSS in your web browser, please follow the instructions below:

Internet Explorer 7: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/IE/ie7/tour/rss/
Firefox: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Live+Bookmarks
Safari: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=ServerAdmin/10.4/en/c1cs26.html
Opera: http://widgets.opera.com/widget/5629/

Alternatively you can subscribe to RSS feeds through your email client, which will result in the feeds being collected and displayed in your email program as a separate inbox.

For help with RSS in your email client, please follow the instructions below:

MS Outlook 2007: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/outlook/HA102580971033.aspx?pid=CL100626971033)
Apple Mail: http://macmost.com/using-apple-mail-rss-reader.html

Finally, you could download an RSS reader which will pull together and show in one place information from all the web pages you have subscribed to (such as AIRAANZ).

For a full list of RSS readers, please see:

This process will allow AIRAANZ and related news to be pushed to you (once you have subscribed) as well as being held on the AIRAANZ web page.
