The Association of Industrial Relations Academics of Australia and New Zealand (AIRAANZ) 2027 conference will take place in Brisbane, Queensland, at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) from Wednesday 3 February, to Friday 5 February 2027. The conference theme is "Power in the Balance: Technology, Participation and Decent Work."

Proposals for special stream sessions, streams, workshops and other activities deadline extended – due Friday 7 August 2026
Proposals for special streams or sessions should include:

Names of session convenor/s, their affiliated institutions, and email addresses

Names of arranged or proposed speakers and their paper titles/topics

A 250-word abstract explaining the session theme.
We also welcome proposals for other conference activities, such as a workshops or book launches. Simply submit a 250-word summary of the proposed activity. Please submit your proposals via email to: airaanz@con-sol.com
